The act
Harp and violin together is a lovely, slightly unexpected pairing, and it is what Sunny Strings do on the Sunshine Coast. The list ranges from Piaf and Mendelssohn through to Ed Sheeran, Coldplay and Taylor Swift, with Hallelujah, Ashokan Farewell and Annie's Song in there as well. Requests are welcomed rather than tolerated, and they will learn something if you ask. Ceremonies, receptions, morning melodies and funerals all sit comfortably, and the same duo covers classical, Celtic and pop without changing gear. Set-up takes about two minutes, which venue coordinators appreciate. Fully insured.
