The act
Guests get played in before you arrive, in whatever style you've picked. Romantic love songs, classical wedding music, Irish and Celtic harp, medieval pieces, and a bit of Metallica if the groomsmen need something to talk about. A ceremony booking covers 15 minutes of music beforehand, the processional, music during the signing of the register, and the recessional. Canapes and pre-dinner drinks are a popular add-on, usually an hour, and the harp works just as well as background music at a sit-down reception. If a song you want isn't on the list, an arrangement can often be written for it, given enough notice and a tune that suits the instrument.
