The act

Carolyn Burgess has played in many of the country's top orchestras and is one of Australia's most respected harpists. Adelaide based, and available outside the orchestral world for weddings, funerals and private events. That's a rare thing to be able to book, honestly. An orchestral player of that standing, sitting down with a harp in your ceremony space, is a different proposition to background music. She works as a soloist across classical and instrumental repertoire, and the harp does much of the work on its own. It fills a room without ever getting loud enough to talk over.
