The act
Harp, piano and voice, with a Perth harpist who takes the customer service side as seriously as the playing. Eliza Bourgault du Coudray has a wide repertoire that moves between classical and pop: Canon in D, Ode to Joy, Air from the Water Music, A Thousand Years, Love Me Like You Do, Perfect and Thinking Out Loud all sit on the list. Weddings and funerals are both part of the work, which takes a particular kind of steadiness. Outdoors, she'll need shade from an umbrella or marquee. Large events, indoors or out, need a PA.

Good to know
What to expect
Two things, and both matter. The first is that you'll get answers when you write to her, which is not a given in this business, and the planning is handled properly before the day arrives. The second is the harp itself: beautiful music, played live, on an instrument most guests will never have seen up close. Between those two you get an event where the music is sorted early and then simply happens on the day.
On the day
Outdoors, she needs proper shade over the harp. An umbrella does it, a marquee does it better, and sun on the instrument is the thing to avoid. Large events want a PA whether they're inside or out, because a harp is quieter than a big room. Small indoor spaces need nothing at all.
