Acoustic Duos in Sydney: what couples ask
Practical answers about pricing, timing and what to confirm before you book.
What does an acoustic duo cost?
Typically between about $1,200 and $3,000 for a ceremony and canapés booking, more for a full reception. Travel and set length move the price. The duo will quote for your date.
Do acoustic duos need power?
Most bring a small battery or mains PA. For a garden or beach ceremony, tell them whether power is available so they can bring the right kit.
Can a duo cover the whole day?
Many can: acoustic sets for the ceremony and drinks, then a fuller sound with backing tracks for dancing. Ask each duo how they handle the reception.
How long do they play?
A ceremony booking is usually 30 minutes of prelude music plus the processional and recessional. Canapés are typically one to two hours. Reception bookings run in sets like a band.
