Guitar, voice and a stomp box, and more than a thousand shows across Australia and New Zealand behind them. Will Gardiner works out of Tweed Heads as a solo act, and scales up to a duo, trio or full band when the night calls for it. The songs are the ones people sing back: Paul Kelly, Cold Chisel, Crowded House, Queen, Fleetwood Mac, Powderfinger, The Killers, Oasis, Train. Friday night pub rooms, Sunday afternoon recovery sessions and wedding ceremonies all get treated differently, and he'll work out the shape of it with you first. Gear is sorted. Two PA speakers big enough to carry a band for 500 people, disco lights that move with the beat, spare wireless mics for speeches, plus a Bluetooth connection for your own playlist. You bring the power point. Public liability insured, with a working with children check.

Good to know
What to expect
Tell him what the occasion actually is and the set gets built for it. A Friday night pub room wants something loud and familiar. A Sunday afternoon recovery session wants the opposite. And a wedding ceremony followed by a reception is really two different gigs stitched together, which Will Gardiner treats as such. He's happy to work through the shape of the day with you first, so nothing gets guessed at.
On the day
You supply the power point. Everything else turns up in the car. Two PA speakers, big enough to carry a full band for a crowd of 500, plus a lighting rig with two disco lights that move with the beat and a background wash. Spare microphones come too, wireless and wired, so speeches and announcements are covered without borrowing anything. Guitars, leads, stands, powerboards and extension leads are all in there. Your own playlist can go through the speakers by Bluetooth or cable, which is handy for the gaps between sets.
Performance options
Two arrangements beyond a one-off booking. Venues wanting him back regularly can set up a residency, with the shows locked in over a run of dates instead of chased one at a time. And weddings have their own arrangement covering the ceremony, since a ceremony needs different handling to a reception.
Insurance and paperwork
Public liability insured, Working with Children Check.
