Matthew Tsalidis - Violinist
The act
Matthew Tsalidis trained at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and has been playing violin at weddings for over a decade. His repertoire is broad enough that couples generally pick their own pieces rather than choosing from a short list, and he arranges around those selections. Solo violin does something a recorded track cannot: it fills a ceremony space without amplification and it responds to the moment, so an aisle walk that runs long simply keeps going. Based in New South Wales.
