Brad Kendrick plays Joliet Jake and Tristan James takes Elwood, with Asabi Goodman bringing Aretha Franklin into the room. The set runs Shake a Tail Feather, Soul Man, Gimme Some Lovin', Jailhouse Rock and Rawhide, through Sweet Home Chicago and Minnie the Moocher, then hands the stage over for Respect, Think and Natural Woman. Gospel breakdowns, hard blues riffs, and very little dead air between them. It's played as a stage show with the costumes and the presence that go with it, not a covers set with hats on.
