The song list leans heavily on Australian rock and radio pop, from Cold Chisel and Midnight Oil through to Crowded House and George Ezra, so the room usually knows the words. He can take on master of ceremonies duties too.
On the day
He supplies a PA sized to suit most venues, and it's part of the booking rather than something added on afterwards. That means no separate sound hire to arrange for a function room or a pub. Give him a spot to set up and access to power and the rest is handled from his end.
