Rod reads the atmosphere and moves the music to match it. Old songs and new ones sit side by side in the same set, and which way he leans depends on who's in front of him. He's played hundreds of venues around the country, at weddings, engagements and birthdays, and headlined his own shows as a solo act, so there's not much a function room can throw at him that's new. The professional sound and lighting come as part of it, which means the room looks and sounds like a proper gig rather than a bloke with a guitar in the corner.
On the day
Rod arrives with the full professional sound rig and the lighting, so your venue doesn't need a house system or anything hired in. Give him a spot to set up in and a way to reach power, and the rest is handled.
Performance options
Solo is the core booking: one voice, one guitar, sound and lights included. For a reception or a bigger party function Rod can expand behind himself with a backing band, two electric guitarists, an acoustic guitarist, bass, piano and drums, which turns the same repertoire into something with real weight on the dance floor.
