Big hair, high kicks and synthesisers. Rewind 80's Band is a costumed Melbourne show band doing the rock, pop and new romantic hits you first saw on television, and the current line-up has held together for more than ten years. Two one hour sets of party material: Take On Me, Livin' On A Prayer, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Working Class Man, Don't Change, You Spin Me Round, Simply The Best. Production and lighting come with the band and their own crew set it up, so there's a three hour bump-in before doors and a sound check before guests arrive. Line-ups run from a trio through to six pieces depending on the room. Themed events are their natural home.

The current line-up has been together more than ten years without a change, and ten years of playing the same material together is exactly why it sounds this tight. Production and lighting are part of the band, not an extra you have to think about. If you want background music running between the show sets, they'll help sort that too.
The band brings its own production and lighting crew, so nobody from your side is running cables. They need three hours before doors open. Samantha handles the venue side, working with management on where the gear goes and when the sound check happens. A wedding is the clearest example: production in from mid afternoon, sound check an hour before doors, band standing ready when the first guests walk in. Pack-down happens after the event, not during it.
Three sizes. The trio is keyboards, guitar and vocals. The five piece adds drums, bass and a female vocalist alongside guitar and keys. The six piece is that again with a male vocalist as well, which gives the 80s duets somewhere to go. Pick by the size of the room.
