Hairspray out, jeans on. Recall the 80s are six players from Melbourne doing 80s rock, pop and glam with no sequences and nothing on tape, which is rarer than it sounds. Living On A Prayer, The Final Countdown, Footloose, Jessie's Girl, Time Warp, Love Shack, Don't Stop Believin', plus the Australian side of the decade: Divinyls, The Angels, Mi-Sex, Mondo Rock, Pseudo Echo, INXS. As the band puts it, people don't just go to listen to a band, they want to see one. They'll use in-house gear or bring full production and a light show, which scales from a hundred people up to five thousand. Six musicians need a decent stage. Venues, corporate nights and weddings.
