Tony Hallo sat down at a piano 65 years ago and hasn't really got up. He started out playing on Channel 7 and Channel 9 and for radio stations around Victoria, then spent years at weddings, funerals and church services. After seminary he went into full time Christian work, which took the piano to church camps and conferences across Australia and on to London, Ukraine, Moscow, Israel and the rest of Europe. These days he plays at Townsville University Hospital in the palliative care unit and at community festivals around town. Popular classics, music from the shows and stage, and Christian repertoire. The style is relaxed and quiet, made for background rather than centre stage. He brings an electric piano but no PA. If the venue has an acoustic piano, get it tuned first.

Tony Hallo brings an electric piano. He does not carry a PA, so if amplification matters for your space that needs to come from the venue. Where the venue has an acoustic piano he would rather play that, in which case get it checked for tuning before the day.
