The act
Over 200 events hosted, in person and virtual, across most of the shapes an event can take. Penny Grant trained as a lawyer, then founded and ran a Melbourne food experiences business, then found that the presenting and hosting was the part she actually loved. She's hosted for Google, PayPal and Yahoo, appeared on podcasts and panels, and MC'd weddings and funerals as well as product launches, Christmas parties, cooking classes, hens nights and women in business networking events. She currently works at Coles in events and innovation and is an ambassador for a drinks brand. Food is the thread running through it: she's genuinely interested in what brings people around a table. High energy, inclusive, and a real storyteller. Melbourne based. Responsible Service of Alcohol certified.

Good to know
What to expect
Penny Grant has hosted more than 200 events, virtual and in the room, and the range is genuinely wide: public cooking classes and workshops, private functions, weddings and funerals as MC, corporate events, hens and bucks nights, kids parties, networking and women in business nights, singles events, product launches, brand activations, Christmas parties and EOFY celebrations. Food is the thread. She connects people through something a bit different, nudging guests out of the everyday and into unfamiliar territory. Expect her to work at the audience so everyone feels seen, and to hand guests the chance to tell their own stories where the format allows it. Each event gets shaped around what you and your guests actually want.
