The act
Classical training, then everything else. Nick holds a Bachelor of Music with a classical piano major and is a resident pianist at David Jones on Elizabeth Street in Sydney, plus two restaurant bars. He has over 140 songs memorised, which means the music can shift to your taste on the night rather than following a printed list. Chopin, Satie and Debussy at one end. Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Fats Waller and Dave Brubeck through the jazz middle. The Beatles, Elvis, Billy Joel and Elton John. Ed Sheeran, Adele, Coldplay and John Legend at the modern end, and film and Studio Ghibli scores if that's the mood. He'll play your piano or bring his own gear, including power. And he turns up early, in a suit.

What to expect
Nick Pollock Piano turns up early, in a suit, with a good attitude and no drama. More than 140 songs are memorised, which is the practical bit: the music can bend to your taste on the night instead of following a fixed printed list. If the room needs something he doesn't have, he adapts, and that includes bringing his own power and speaker where the venue can't supply them.
On the day
If your venue has a piano, Nick Pollock Piano will play it. If it doesn't, he brings his own equipment, and that extends to power if there's none available where he's set up. Either way it's sorted at his end.
