The act
One person, several jobs, which for a wedding means one point of contact instead of four. Nick is a musician and a registered celebrant with Christian Outreach Centres Australia, so he can take the ceremony and then handle the music through the rest of the day. Solo, but not thin: he uses live looping to build parts in real time and layers drums underneath so it fills out like a band, and there's an option to bring in a female vocalist or add a DJ set. Hundreds of songs to draw on, easy listening classics through to the big sing-alongs like Bohemian Rhapsody and Tiny Dancer. The PA and lighting are his, scaled to the room. He needs power, a clear space of about three metres by two, and he'll coordinate the setup with your venue. Working With Children Check held. Based in Margaret River.

What to expect
One person covering several jobs, which for a wedding means one point of contact instead of four. Nick is a musician and a registered celebrant, so he can run your ceremony and then carry the music through the rest of the day. He'll want to know your story first, because the ceremony and the setlist get built from that rather than pulled off a shelf. On the day he's calm, and he reads a room properly, so you get quiet soulful playing where that's right and a full dance floor when it's time. Solo, but with live looping and layered drums it fills out like a band.
On the day
The PA and lighting rigs are his, scaled to whatever you're running, from a small ceremony through to a full reception. The setup is self contained. From you he needs power, a clear performance area of about three metres by two, and enough room to set up safely and tidily. He arrives ready and coordinates directly with your venue, so the setup happens around your day rather than in the middle of it.
Performance options
There are three levels of coverage. The first is celebrancy plus live music for the ceremony itself. The middle one adds reception entertainment, so the same person carries you from the formal part into the celebration. The largest covers the full day: ceremony, cocktail hour and reception as one continuous run of music. On top of any of those you can add a live duo with a female vocalist, a DJ set, or MC duties.
