Mussa Adnan
The act
What you'll notice first is how one guitarist can sound bigger than a standard solo set, with acoustic guitar and a looper pedal used to build the arrangement live in front of you. Mussa Adnan records and layers the parts as he plays, adding rhythm and melody on the spot so each piece gradually opens out. The result can stay simple and intimate or grow into a more textured instrumental soundscape, always coming from live playing rather than backing tracks. At a wedding, that feels especially right for canapes, an outdoor drinks hour or dinner where you want the room relaxed, with a gentle groove instead of total hush. A laid back wedding with an ear for guitar detail will get the most from this.
