Millie writes her own songs and plays other people's, and she'll happily do both in one night. The originals lean on catchy melodies and lyrics drawn from ordinary experience, the kind people recognise in themselves. Then there are the covers, the ones a crowd already knows, which is usually what gets them up and singing. She's been in and out of the studio working on new material, so the set has a mix of things you know and things you haven't heard yet.
