Metta Musica pairs singer and guitarist Portia Briana with percussionist Billy Wild. Portia spent five years building a following along Sydney's Northern Beaches and has played the Factory Theatre in Marrickville and Bello Winter Music Festival. Together the two aim for warmth rather than volume. The song list is short and deliberate: No Woman No Cry, Graceland, My Heart Will Go On, Blackbird, and they'll arrange any request to fit the duo. Weddings are the natural setting, ceremony through to reception. They bring all their own equipment and just ask for a power outlet and cover if the weather turns.

Every piece of equipment comes with the duo, so there's no gear list to chase. From you they'd like a power outlet near where they're playing, though they can work around it if there isn't one. The other request is shelter. Outdoors, an awning or a marquee over the playing spot matters, because instruments and rain don't mix and a wet afternoon shouldn't end the music early.
Three wedding options, each one building on the last. The ceremony package covers the music for the wedding party walking in, the entrance, two songs while the register is signed and two more as the couple heads back down the aisle, with three or four of those songs chosen by you. Add the pre-ceremony option and they play a thirty minute set while your guests are arriving and finding seats. The full version adds another thirty minutes afterwards, so there's music over the congratulations and the photos instead of an awkward silence.
