The act
Nine years and counting as a professional comedian, which is long enough to have built a wide store of material and the judgement to know which bits belong at a corporate lunch and which don't. Matt Harvey works Melbourne as a stand-up, MC and host, and he'll talk through what your event actually needs before deciding how to pitch the night rather than turning up with a fixed set. Custom written material is on the table if the occasion warrants it. He also acts, including voice work, and takes wedding MC bookings. Solo shows and spots on line-up bills both available. All he needs is a microphone and speakers, though he'll take a stage and lights if you've got them.

On the day
A microphone and speakers will do it. A stage and some lighting make the show better and he'll happily use them, but neither is a requirement, so a function room with a PA in the corner works fine.
Performance options
Matt takes shorter spots as part of a line-up show alongside other comedians, and longer solo shows where he carries the whole thing on his own. He also works as an MC and host, including weddings. Which one suits depends on how much of your night you want him filling.
