Thirty years of pub and club rooms sit behind this one, and it shows in the tightness rather than the volume. The Last Stand Chisel Barnes Show run a proper show, worked out and rehearsed, not four blokes finding their way through a catalogue. Cold Chisel and Jimmy Barnes material gets played by people who've done it thousands of nights. So what lands in front of you is polished, and the crowd gets the songs the way they remember them.
A stage six metres wide by four deep is the ideal, and it gives the full band room to work properly. But they know most venues can't offer that. Four metres by three in the corner of a pub is enough to get everything in and still play a full show, so a smaller room isn't a dealbreaker. Measure your space before you enquire and it saves a conversation later.
