Patrolling the Southern Ocean as the only woman in an armed boarding party is not the usual line on a speaker's history. Natalie's is. That work, part of the effort against drug trafficking and illegal immigration, opened into thirteen years of government roles across Australia and the Middle East: running hostage negotiation courses for special forces units, working alongside prime ministers and governors-general, and close protection duty for The Queen. She started out running a sea kayak adventure business, which tells you something about where saying yes can lead. These days she teaches the codes and patterns of human behaviour, and speaks on leadership, risk, performing under pressure and adapting to change. Give her a headset mic and a screen for her slides.
