What to expect
John Veloso does two jobs across the same day. Acoustic guitar and vocals first, for the ceremony, the canape hour and dinner, then a DJ set once the room is ready to dance. One person, one point of contact, and no awkward gap while one act packs up and another sets up. That's the practical appeal for a wedding. He takes pride in the atmosphere he creates and works with couples to make sure the day sounds the way they pictured it. Performance options
Packages are built around how much of the day you want covered. The shortest is an hour of live acoustic at the ceremony. From there it steps up: ceremony and canapes, reception through the meal, or ceremony plus canapes plus the early part of the reception, which comes to five hours of acoustic coverage. The largest option adds the DJ set, so it's acoustic through the ceremony, canapes and early reception, then DJ for the rest of the night, around seven hours all up. Every package includes a battery powered portable PA for the ceremony, professional sound and stage lighting for the reception, and a wireless microphone for the speeches. He arrives up to two hours ahead to set up. Duo and trio options exist if you want more than one player.
