Kees and his partner play to stir up memories, and they're good at it. Half the pleasure for the audience is trying to work out what the tune is from an instrumental arrangement before someone at the table gets it. Kees plays some genuinely unusual guitars, and people do wander over mid set to ask what they are, which is usually how the conversation starts. They like talking to the audience about the artists and styles they're into, and with the repertoire they've got, there's a decent chance your favourite is already sitting there ready to play.
On the day
Four practical things. They fit into roughly 2m by 2m, so a duo like this can go where a band can't. They bring all their own gear, a small PA, instruments and cabling included. They can run on battery power if there's no socket where you want them. And they turn up at least an hour before the start to set up and sound check.
