DUNCAN MACKINTOSH
The act
Duncan Mackintosh has spent years learning what works in a pub, a private function and a corporate room. The Perth acoustic performer began his professional career playing widely across Western Australia, then moved to Sydney in the early 1990s and established himself in the city's music scene. He later returned west and, from 2000, placed a greater focus on solo work. Since then, Duncan has played hundreds of engagements. His repertoire balances current and classic crowd favourites, with a few less expected choices tucked into the set. He's also performed in bands alongside recognised Australian artists and was a member of the West Australian group Wax, which reunited in 2014 after an extended break.
