The act
Disco Revolution is a Sydney-based cover band.
Flamboyant outfits and the great disco hits of the seventies give Disco Revolution an immediate sense of time and place. The professional seven piece show band also includes a DJ, creating a continuous disco and dance experience. Music from the seventies and eighties sits inside a production designed to recreate the colour, attitude and movement of the era. For your wedding, that makes the act a complete theme rather than a short run of familiar songs. This suits couples who want a large live band and a boldly theatrical commitment to disco.

Good to know
What to expect
This is staged, not just played. Seven musicians and a DJ work the 70s dance catalogue as a full show, wardrobe included, with the flamboyant cuts and colours the era was built on. Disco was never only a sound. It was a way of dressing, a way of dancing and a whole style of club, and between 1975 and 1979 it took over popular music almost completely. Disco Revolution put the whole lot back on a stage. Best in a club, a big function or anywhere with a stage worth filling and a floor people are meant to be standing on.
