What to expect
This is staged, not just played. Seven musicians and a DJ work the 70s dance catalogue as a full show, wardrobe included, with the flamboyant cuts and colours the era was built on. Disco was never only a sound. It was a way of dressing, a way of dancing and a whole style of club, and between 1975 and 1979 it took over popular music almost completely. Disco Revolution put the whole lot back on a stage. Best in a club, a big function or anywhere with a stage worth filling and a floor people are meant to be standing on.
