The act

In 2011 he discovered a banking error and withdrew 1.6 million dollars before eventually turning himself in. Along the way he paid strangers' debts, funded a university degree and even held a party for the bank involved. The bank did not want to prosecute and police were not pursuing him, yet he chose to be caught because he wanted his life back.
