The man of 1000 voices, and that's not far off the actual count. Danny McMaster has built a repertoire of more than 300 dead-on impressions and picks between 60 and 100 of them for any given show, chosen on the night to suit the audience in front of him. So no two shows come out the same. He'll slide from Morgan Freeman to Homer Simpson to Sylvester Stallone without a pause. The full show, Danny McMaster and His Cast of Superstars, combines music, comedy and a multimedia screen. The list runs through Roy Orbison, Joe Cocker, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan, Billy Connolly, John Cleese and the Warner Brothers cartoon crew. Book him as MC, as the show, or both. Based at Tallai, Queensland.

Good to know
What to expect
More than 300 impressions sit in Danny's head, and he picks 60 to 100 of them for any given night, reading the room to decide which. No two shows come out the same because of it. He'll go from Morgan Freeman to Homer Simpson to Sylvester Stallone without a break, catching the walk and the facial expressions along with the voice, and he does it with barely any props. Topical bits get worked in, sometimes something that happened that day. And if someone shouts a name from the floor, he'll usually have a go at it on the spot.
On the day
The whole show runs off his laptop, so he needs a VGA connection to a screen plus mini-jack sound, and a mic on a stand. A follow-spot helps where the room suits one. For smaller, more intimate events he can drop the screen entirely and work off the cuff.
