The act
Brit Beat Mania is a Gold Coast-based tribute band.
The room steps into the British Invasion when Brit Beat Mania matches the look of the era with its familiar sixties and seventies sound. The Gold Coast tribute show draws on Cliff Richard, Herman's Hermits, The Hollies, Tom Jones, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Its energy is interactive, with the performance aimed at people who remember these songs and guests discovering how many choruses they already know. For a wedding, that clear era can give several generations an easy way into the same musical moment. The strongest impression is the care given to recreating the presentation as well as the music.

Good to know
What to expect
A sixties and seventies pop show, played by a band that has put the look together as carefully as the sound. The set is a run of British Invasion hits, Cliff Richard, Herman's Hermits, The Hollies, Tom Jones, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones among them. It is pitched at people who heard these songs the first time round, and the show keeps talking to the room rather than performing at it. Energy stays high and audiences sing along, which is rather the point.
