Amlantino are Amla, who plays both flute and violin, and Valentino on nylon string guitar, a duo based in Reservoir who work weddings and events. Their sets are shaped to the occasion: for a wedding ceremony, romantic melodies pitched to each stage of it, then something with more lift once the reception is under way. They improvise as well, so the music can stretch while the bridal party is still on its way, or soften when the room does. The sound is classical in its elegance with a contemporary edge, and sits well under a garden ceremony.
