The act
Rewind 80s is a Melbourne-based 80s cover band.
This suits a wedding where your dance floor is full of people who'll light up at 80s anthems and don't want the energy to sag. Rewind 80s are a multi piece live band built around the decade's big songs, pulling from artists like Bowie, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, INXS and Queen. They lean into the look as well as the sound, with spandex and synths part of the picture, so the set has a real tribute show feel instead of just a run of covers. For a wedding, that points straight at the dance floor after dinner, especially if you'd rather keep people singing between songs than drifting back to their seats. And they're set up for two solid live sets with the pace kept high most of the way through.
