The idea here is straightforward. Your colleagues sing, and a live band plays behind them. YOU'RE THE VOICE! sets up a full stage with surround screens showing the lyrics, so nobody has to remember the words, and the backing is a real band rather than a backing track. Song choices run wide: Shake It Off, Valerie, Uptown Funk, Khe Sanh, New York New York, Take On Me, Mamma Mia. It's built for corporate nights and team events where you want people out of their seats rather than watching. The set is big, so allow two hours to bump in the sound, lighting and screens. A performance area of five metres by two will do at a pinch, though more space is better. Insured, with electrical PAT certificates in place.

Good to know
What to expect
Your guests do the singing. That's the whole idea. A full stage gets built with large TV screens around it showing the karaoke lyrics in real time, so nobody has to know the words, and behind them is a live professional band rather than a backing track. Theatrical lighting and smoke turn the room into something closer to a concert than an office party. People who swore they wouldn't sing tend to end up on stage by the second hour, and the rest of the room becomes the crowd cheering them on. It's built for corporate events and team nights.
On the day
This is a big production, so allow at least two hours to get in and set up. That covers the A/V, the sound and lighting systems, and the large screens that go around the stage for the lyrics. On space: five metres wide by two metres deep is the tightest they can work in, and it does work, but a bigger stage gives the show more room to breathe. Worth checking what your venue can offer before you commit to a room.
