Tony, Kurt and Bob make up Vinyl Revival, a Gold Coast trio getting a large sound out of three people. No backing tracks, no looping. What you hear is the three of them playing, which is increasingly rare and worth asking about. The catalogue reaches from the 60s to now across rock, blues, soul and funk, taking in Billy Idol, Queen, Australian Crawl, Mondo Rock, Bill Withers, The Beatles and plenty more, and the set gets built around your crowd. They are straight about timings too: a four hour booking is three one hour sets with half hour breaks. Sound levels stay inside whatever the venue requires, and they carry backline, PA and a light bar for rooms up to about 500.

What to expect
Tony, Kurt and Bob, and no backing tracks or looping of any kind. What you hear is three people playing, which is worth pointing out because plenty of trios sound bigger than three for reasons they'd rather not explain. The set list gets shaped to your favourite artists and genres, anywhere from the 50s to now. Some of your guests will sing, some will dance, and some will sit and listen. All three are catered for.
On the day
They're upfront about timings. A four hour booking is three one hour sets with half hour breaks after the first two. A three hour booking is two 45 minute sets with 20 minute breaks, then a 50 minute set to finish. Small adjustments are possible on request. Power needs to be standard 240 volt mains within seven metres, either two 10 amp points or one 20 amp. Access has to take equipment carts, so hard surfaces and doors or a loading dock with clearance. Outdoors, a canopy over the band and gear is required.
Performance options
They carry a full complement of backline, PA and a light bar, enough for rooms holding up to about 500 people. Larger systems can be arranged if your venue needs more than that. On volume, they're sensible about it. Nobody's ears get destroyed, but if your crowd wants it loud, they'll happily oblige.
