Big voice, bigger personality, and a knack for reading which way a room is leaning. Tunney works Perth as a solo singer, entertainer and MC, moving from quiet background music and ballads through to singalongs, pub favourites and the songs that fill a dance floor. Before the day she'll go through performance times, the mood you're after, the songs that matter to you, any MC announcements, the age of the crowd and how the venue loads in. She brings her own PA, microphone, backing tracks and stage lighting, and asks for about an hour to set up and sound check. Requests are welcome where she can manage them. She holds a working with children check, a police clearance and an RSA, and is insured.

Good to know
What to expect
Before the day Tunney goes through a checklist with you, and it's more thorough than most. Performance and access times, the atmosphere you're after, the genres and specific songs that matter, any MC announcements or key moments, the age range in the room, dress code or theme, and how the venue handles power and load-in. She turns up with her own PA, microphone, backing tracks and stage lighting. Then during the event she watches the room and shifts the volume, pace and song choice to match it. Requests are welcome wherever she can fit them, and there's background music during her breaks.
On the day
Allow up to an hour before the performance for load-in, setup and sound check. From the venue she needs a level and safe performance area, one standard 240 volt outlet within reach, clear access for carrying gear in and out, and parking or a loading area close by. Outdoor spots need protection from rain, wind and direct sun. Everything else is hers: PA, microphone, backing-track gear and basic stage lighting. Mention stairs, a long carry or any sound restrictions when you enquire.
Performance options
Options range from a single 45 minute set to a fully hosted night. One set suits a ceremony, a dinner, a presentation or a shorter celebration. Two sets with background music through the break fits private parties, club nights and Sunday sessions. Three 45 minute sets inside a three hour booking is the full party version, starting relaxed and building to singalongs and dance floor songs. The hosted option adds MC duties and music before, between and after the live sets. There's also Morning Melodies, an hour-long interactive show for aged care and over-55s audiences with singalongs and gentle participation. MC and event hosting can be booked on its own, and themed shows include vintage, rock 'n' roll, disco, Christmas, musical theatre and Australian music, with a couple of weeks' notice for a specific costume.
