Smooth vocals and accomplished piano playing are at the centre of Tristan Watson's performance, an appealing combination for music during your wedding dinner. His approach combines easy listening with an entertaining performance, so the appeal is in both the sound and the person delivering it to your guests. He completed a Bachelor of Music in Multi-instrumental Jazz Performance at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, studying with musicians including Steve Newcombe and James Sandon. His performance experience includes a vocalist and pianist residency at the Mix bar in Woolloongabba, plus appearances at Jazz and Shiraz Moreton Bay and the Moreton Bay Food and Wine Festival.

One musician, two jobs at once. Tristan Watson sings while he plays, so the piano is carrying the arrangement and the vocal sits on top of it, live in the room with no backing track underneath. Sets run 45 minutes, then he takes a quarter of an hour off before the next one starts, which gives a dinner service or a speech a natural window. The playing is the drawcard here rather than any patter between numbers.
