Tom Booth covers the whole soundtrack of a day, which is why couples tend to book the live music and the DJ from him together. Guest arrival through to the last song of the reception, all from one person. Every booking comes with proper planning by phone or email beforehand: must-plays, do-not-plays, first dance and parent dances, ceremony choices, family or cultural requests, and how the timings line up with your venue and celebrant. For ceremonies, the three key songs can be learned and played live. Corporate work runs the same way, from opening canapes through to the close of the night. Fourteen years of gigs sit behind the calm about it all.
On the day
One reliable power point runs everything. Where access is straightforward, an hour is plenty of set up time. Using two spaces changes the maths: outdoor canapes and then an indoor reception means a power outlet in each, and an hour per PA system. If there's no power at all where your ceremony is happening, battery powered options are available, which is what makes beach and bush spots workable.
Performance options
The all-in-one wedding booking is the popular one: live acoustic through the ceremony and cocktail hour, then a full DJ reception, with up to three ceremony songs learned, a personalised reception playlist, PA, wireless mics for celebrant and speeches, and dancefloor lighting. Prefer live only? Solo acoustic guitar and vocals suits ceremonies and canapes, or the duo with Nikayla on guitar, keys and second vocals fills out the harmonies for dinner. The DJ package stands alone too. Lighting can be added to any of it, ambient uplighting in your colours plus moving heads for the dancefloor. Corporate bookings cover background acoustic sets, event DJ and sound, and lighting on its own.
