Rocky sings and plays rhythm guitar, Rolly takes the leads and the backing vocals, and between them The Widgee Brothers cover a lot of Australian music. Rock, folk, country and adult contemporary, with a groove that's their own. Sets run up to four hours and carry the Aussie banter along with them. Sounds of Then, Under the Milky Way, Flame Trees, Down Under, My Island Home, Solid Rock, Treaty and Home Among the Gum Trees all get an airing. Didjeridu, spoons and banjo turn up alongside the electric guitar. Based on the Sunshine Coast, and available as a four-piece band when you want more. They can bring their own PA.

Good to know
What to expect
They will play up to four hours, and a lively four at that. Rocky and Rolly lean on great Aussie hits and thread their own banter between the songs. Alongside the vocals, electric guitar and original backing tracks, you will also hear didjeridu, spoons and banjo, which is a broader spread of instruments than a duo usually manages. It is a clean, professional set with a good groove, aimed at people who want to dance.
