Kelly and Chris have been playing the Mornington Peninsula for more than twenty years, and it shows in how easily The Warrains move between things that shouldn't fit together. Jazz into country. Indie into 80s. Originals sitting beside covers the room already knows. What holds it together is two versatile voices and some rich harmony work. They can play cruisy while people talk over a drink, then lift it until the floor fills. Bob Dylan, the Beatles, Nina Simone, Crowded House, Tom Waits, Paul Kelly, Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton all turn up. Available as a trio or full band on request. They bring their own PA and just need power.
