What to expect
Two archtop guitars, a double bass, a violin and harmony vocals, played by people who talk to a room rather than perform at it. PA comes with them, so the sound side of your event is handled.
The Swing Beans is a Brisbane-based jazz band.
Listening can turn into dancing with The Swing Beans, whose bright acoustic jazz could give your wedding afternoon a gentle sense of movement. Two archtop guitars join double bass and violin in the quartet, with vocal harmonies accompanying covers mainly from the twenties through the fifties. The band has seven years of performing experience in Brisbane and South East Queensland, and you can also discuss a duo or trio. For the full ensemble, those string instruments and harmonies give the mostly uptempo jazz repertoire its acoustic character, with audience interaction part of the performance.
Watch The Swing Beans perform and get a feel for their sound, style and fit for your wedding.
Pricing is confirmed before anything is booked. GST and travel are shown clearly on the quote.

An hour on site before your start time covers the PA and getting the stage area sorted. Access to 240 volt power is the one thing they can't bring themselves. Outdoors, they'll ask for the performance area to be under cover.
The quartet can drop back to a trio or a duo, still playing the same jazz and swing material.
