Pub rock, bluesy grooves and a splash of funk, played by a five or six piece with a following around Perth and a habit of turning up at festivals like Gidgestock. The Moonlighters run from AC/DC and Creedence through Fleetwood Mac, the Stones, Crowded House and Stevie Wonder, and the whole set is built around songs people already know the words to. They play with a crowd rather than at one, so a Sunday session, a wedding and a packed club night all end up sounding a bit different. Every so often the bagpipes come out. Stage room for six and power is the ask, lighting they've got covered. Sound and lighting techs can be arranged. Insured.

Good to know
What to expect
Classic rock, soul, blues and funk, played by a band that watches the floor. The Moonlighters read the room and shift the set accordingly, which is why a Sunday session, a wedding and a late club night don't come out sounding identical. Creedence, Crowded House, the Stones and Stevie Wonder all get an airing, and the harmonies are tight. Now and then the bagpipes come out for It's a Long Way to the Top, which lands better than it has any right to.
On the day
Room on stage for six players, and power to it. Lighting is already handled at their end, so that's one less thing on your list.
Performance options
Sound and lighting technicians can come along with the band if you'd like the show run properly rather than set and forget. Ask about it when you enquire.
