The Melody Makers Jazz Trio play standards to a proper standard in Perth, and they also put on presentations that trace the music from New Orleans and Chicago through Louis Armstrong and Sidney Bechet, into the swing era, then bebop, cool and jazz rock. Their Jazz And A Joke variety show adds humour into the mix. For a birthday, luncheon or wedding they'll drop the talking and just play.
