Greg and Belinda have more than forty years in music between them, and The HitPit is what they do with it. An acoustic duo built for rooms where a full band would be too much but you still want people on their feet, using hand and foot percussion alongside guitar to keep the pulse going. They'll play cocktail-style and chilled if that's the brief. The songs run from Horses and April Sun in Cuba through Khe Sanh, Sweet Home Alabama, Run to Paradise, Jolene, Mamma Mia and Wish You Were Here. They ask for at least thirty minutes to set up, forty-five if you can spare it, plus power and shelter from the weather outdoors. Insured.

Good to know
What to expect
Greg and Belinda made this act for rooms where a full band would be too much but you still want guests up dancing. Hand and foot percussion runs alongside the guitar, and that's what keeps the pulse under everything and stops an acoustic duo from feeling thin. If the brief is quieter, they'll play it cocktail style and chilled instead. Versatile by design, and openly focused on making your event go well rather than on their own set list.
On the day
Half an hour is the minimum they'll ask for before starting, and 45 minutes makes for a calmer job. They'll also need to get at electricity. Outdoors, one extra thing matters: the duo and their gear have to be kept out of the weather, so a marquee or verandah earns its place.
