The act
An evening with room for energetic Irish tunes and songs is the atmosphere The Gathering sets out to create. Irish musician Mick McHugh fronts the band, which blends traditional material with popular covers through a contemporary Irish Australian approach. For your wedding, you could explore how much of the reception you want to give to that Irish character and where the covers might sit around it. Their work includes recording for ABC Music and international touring, alongside festival performances.
