The act
A female voice and male guitarist form the starting combination for The Downtown Collective, with backing tracks supporting the performance. Kathleen and Simon draw on decades of combined live experience, including weddings, and shape their music around the occasion. Their repertoire moves between jazz, relaxed grooves and dance songs from different eras, giving you several moods to explore. You could use the smaller format during dinner and discuss a larger lineup if you want a change of scale for the reception. Additional voices, bass, drums, keyboards and brass are among the options, with the act able to expand to eight performers.
