Three players, an enormous amount of sound. The Dawn Birds bring together Cameron Goodall, formerly of The Audreys, with Quincy Grant and Gareth Chin of Golonka, and they stack three-part harmonies over accordion, baritone guitar, bass clarinet, banjo and whatever else the song wants. The material is folk, blues and country covers: Sam Cooke, Leonard Cohen, Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, Hank Williams, Roy Orbison, Tom Waits, Neil Young. Sweet and soulful in the background, or singalong and dancing when you ask for it. Adelaide based, one or two sets, and requests from the list are welcome. Full public liability insurance.

Good to know
What to expect
Three players making a startlingly full sound. Soaring three part harmonies sit over accordion, baritone guitar, bass clarinet, banjo and whatever else a song calls for. It can stay sweet and soulful in the background, or swing over into singalong and dancing when you ask. One set or two, and you are welcome to request anything off their lists. A song that means something to you but isn't in the book can be learned for a small additional charge.
On the day
They can work entirely independently, turning up with their own PA and amp setup, which keeps things simple in a room with no system. Running through a house PA instead, what they need from it is four microphones and three DI boxes.
