A wedding can run through this act's whole day. Peter sings with acoustic guitar for the ceremony, then the full band takes over for dinner and dancing at the reception. They're full-time professional musicians, and they scale from a soloist up to a duo, 3 piece or 4 piece to suit the room. The songbook stretches from Top 40 to acoustic ballads, rock and jazz, with staples like All of Me, Hallelujah and Marry You sitting alongside requests they'll learn for you. They've written completely original songs with couples for the big day, and they've played surprise proposals too. Their 600 watt PA and lighting can double up for the speeches, and DJ, MC and a female singer are available as extras.

Clients who booked The Best Men
Client
These guys did a fantastic job. Peter played some acoustic songs during the ceremony, which made it really special - he has a great voice. Then the band played during the reception, while everyone had drinks, and then ended up on the dance floor! They were friendly, easy to deal with, and sounded great!

Good to know
What to expect
Full-time musicians rather than a weekend covers band, and the difference shows in how the day runs. Peter can sing the ceremony solo with acoustic guitar, then the full band picks it up for dinner and dancing later. So one act carries the whole wedding instead of two bookings that have never met. Song requests are welcome, including ones they'll learn for you. Their 600 watt sound system and lighting comes with them, and the same PA handles the speeches and announcements, which is one less thing to organise.
On the day
They're used to working around whatever the venue gives them. Power or no power, inside or outside, a loud room or a quiet one. They carry their own sound system, so a bare space with nothing in it isn't a problem. Worth telling them upfront where you're holding it and whether there's a power point nearby, so they turn up with the right rig for the spot.
Performance options
Scales from one player up to four. A soloist or duo suits a wedding ceremony, and the 3 piece or 4 piece handles the reception once people want to dance. On top of the music there's a DJ service and an MC service, and a female singer can be added to the line-up. Special song requests get learned ahead of the day, so if there's a particular track you want walking down the aisle to, say so early.
