The act
One guitarist, but not a quiet one. Tess Shore plays solo acoustic in Melbourne with a stomp box and looping gear filling in the rhythm underneath, so a single performer covers more ground than you'd expect. The set list runs across rock, pop, folk, blues and country, mostly 60s through 90s with oldies threaded in, and the mix shifts depending on the crowd in front of it. Party volume or something laid back, either way. Twenty-five years of playing is behind the show. Requests are welcome ahead of time, and informal ones on the night usually work too if they sit inside those styles. Undercover space, power and ideally a small stage. A few coloured lighting pots can come along for stage effects. Insured for public liability.

Behind it sit 25 years in music, including time fronting rock bands as lead singer, which is where the knack for reading a room comes from. Tess Shore works weddings, birthdays, pubs and clubs, corporate functions, family gatherings and celebrations of most kinds.
On the day
Undercover, with power available. A small stage is preferred, particularly in a busy venue where the floor fills up. Tess can bring a few coloured lighting pots for stage effects, though these are for atmosphere rather than illumination, so some other lighting will be needed as well, especially outdoors.
