Piano, on its own, played quietly enough that people can still hear each other talk. If you'd rather the room felt modern than formal, chilled beats can run underneath the playing. It's subtle music by design. Nothing in the set is asking for your guests' attention, which is exactly why it works while they're arriving, eating or talking.
On the day
Terence brings his own instrument and everything that goes with it, so the venue only has to supply a power point and a flat surface to set it all on. That's genuinely the whole list. If your venue has its own piano he's glad to play that instead, though it's worth checking when it was last tuned. A few months is fine. Years is a problem, and you'd rather find that out before the day than during the first song.
Performance options
Solo piano is the starting point, and from there it can grow. A shape that works well for a long evening: Terence plays alone while guests are arriving and settling, then other musicians join him later once the night has warmed up and people want something with more push behind it.
