The act
Tayvin Martins started out around Gulgong and Mudgee before moving down to Wollongong in 2022, and has since played wineries, pubs, restaurants and weddings across the Illawarra. The sound is contemporary folk with country, pop and blues folded in, delivered as a one-man band using guitar, vocals, harmonica and percussion. Expect Mumford & Sons, Ziggy Alberts and The Lumineers among the familiar ones. He's played Steamers Bar and Grill, Artemis Wines, Five Barrel Brewing and Bundanon Art Museum. Up to four hours of material, with new songs added constantly, and he's happy to learn an aisle or first dance song. Bring him a spot to play, power and cover if the weather turns. Everything else, including transport, is his problem, not yours.

Good to know
What to expect
One person, four instruments going at once. Tayvin Martins plays guitar, sings, works a harmonica and keeps percussion going underneath, which gives a solo set more body than you'd expect. The sound sits in contemporary folk with country, pop and blues in the mix, and it can stay chilled through a long lunch or lift for a party. You'll hear Mumford & Sons, Ziggy Alberts and The Lumineers alongside plenty of others. He's played wineries, pubs, restaurants and weddings around the Illawarra, among them Bundanon Art Museum, Artemis Wines, Steamers Bar and Grill, and Five Barrel Brewing.
On the day
Somewhere to set up, power, and an undercover spot if the weather looks like turning. He owns all of his equipment and drives himself to gigs, so there's no hire gear to coordinate and no transport for you to think about. Point him at a corner and he'll take care of the rest.
Performance options
For general events, up to four hours of live background music, played as two to four sets of forty five minutes. For weddings there's a version that covers pre-ceremony music while you and your guests arrive, three songs he learns specifically for the aisle walk, the signing and the exit, then two or three forty five minute sets through the reception.
