What to expect
One booking covers the whole day, and the sound changes as the day does. Tayla & Danny - Acoustic Duo play live through arrival, the ceremony, canapes and dinner, learning the songs that matter to you for the aisle and the formalities. Then around the first dance they move across to the decks and run the floor from there, taking requests, occasionally cutting the music so the room sings the line themselves. They arrive at least an hour before the ceremony with the PA, instruments, lighting and a wireless mic for the speeches, and they'll relocate the whole rig between ceremony, canapes and reception without you noticing it happen.
On the day
Power for the PA, and that's it. They bring every instrument, speaker, microphone and light themselves. If your ceremony spot has no power at all, which is common enough on a beach or in a paddock, they've got a battery powered amp that covers it, so a remote ceremony doesn't need a generator hired in. Tell them which parts of the day have power and which don't and they'll pack accordingly.
Performance options
The full day duo booking runs live acoustic music from early afternoon through the ceremony, canapes, cocktail hour and dinner, then a DJ set with professional lighting to finish, roughly six hours of live music and two of DJ. It includes the songs of your choice performed or cued for the formal moments, a wireless microphone for speeches, and battery speakers for any part of the day without power. A three hour solo option covers the ceremony and canapes with Danny playing, including fifteen minutes of pre-ceremony music. A five hour version extends that through dinner, adds the DJ set and the speech microphone, and gives you the choice of upgrading the live playing from solo to duo. For venues and non-wedding work, they also play straight acoustic cover sets.
